Gonca YILMAZ BATUR

Deputy Minister of Trade

Gonca YILMAZ BATUR was born in Konya, in 1970. After graduation from Ankara Science High School in 1988, she received a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering in Bilkent University. Until the graduation in 1994, during her MBA studies in the same university, she worked as a teaching assistant.

After university, she started her business career in private sector and took senior managerial positions in global audit and consulting companies. Then again, she worked senior executive positions in telecommunication, automotive, energy and many other fields.

Ms. YILMAZ BATUR was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Trade on August 18, 2018. She is fluent in English. She is married and has two children.
