The inflation rate in Germany, measured as the year-on-year change in the consumer price index (CPI), stood at +2.2% in April 2024. It also stood at +2.2% in March 2024, while in February 2024 the rate of change was +2.5%. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that consumer prices in April 2024 rose by 0.5% on March 2024.
