World Trade Volume Decreased by 1.4% in November 2023 Compared to the Previous Month

According to monthly data from the Netherlands Bureau of Economic Policy Analysis (CPB), world trade volume decreased by 1.4% compared to the previous month, following a 0.7% increase in October. From January to November 2023, world trade volume decreased by 2.1% compared to the same period in the previous year.
 
On the other hand, world industrial production increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month, after remaining virtually unchanged in October. From January to November 2023, world industrial production increased by 0.8% compared to the same period in the previous year.
