The producer prices of industrial products were 6.7% higher in September 2026 than in September 2025. This was the largest year-on-year increase since March 2023 (+7.5%). The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that producer prices in September 2026 rose by 1.9% on August 2026.
