The Trade Development Agreement (TDA) between the Republic of Turkey and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela was signed on 17 May, 2018 and entered into force on 21 August 2020.

Both states will grant tariff preferences to the goods originating in the other party over customs duties applicable to imports from third countries in accordance with the Preferential Treatment Schedules set out in Annex I (referred to in Article 10).

Other than limited number of products listed under Annex II (referred to in Article 10) of the Agreement, Turkey and Venezuela eliminates the customs duties on industrial and agricultural products upon the entry into force of this Agreement. List II-A includes Turkey's excluded products and List II-B includes Venezuela's excluded products.

The products, which will benefit from the preferential tariffs, should fulfill the rules of origin set out in Annex III (referred to in Article 11) of the Agreement.
